Privacy Policy

The short version

Liftofly LLC runs liftofly.com. We collect only what we need to answer your request and to do the work if you hire us. We do not use tracking cookies or ad trackers. We do not sell your personal information. You can ask to see, fix or delete what we have about you.

What the public site does

The public pages on liftofly.com are static pages. At launch they have:

• no tracking cookies
• no ad trackers
• no third-party analytics
• no third-party scripts

What we collect through our forms

We have three forms: the contact form, the free visibility check and the project start form. They ask for:

• your name
• your business name
• your email address
• your phone number (optional)
• your website address
• your city and state
• a message (optional)
• a checkbox to confirm you agree to our handling of your information

How we use it

We use what you send us to answer your request. If you become a customer, we also use it to set up your account. We do not use it for anything else.

Your form entries are stored on our own server.

Customers and the member area

If you become a customer, your Liftofly representative gives you an access code. With that code you can:

• view your plan
• read and electronically sign your agreement
• use the member area to see the status of your work

When you sign, we record your typed name, your consent, and the date, time and IP address of the signature. We keep this as proof that you signed.

We also send automated emails to tell you when each part of your work is done.

What is saved in your browser

We save a few things in your browser, and only on your device:

• Session storage: your access code and a sign-in token. These last only for your current visit. They are cleared when you close the tab or window.
• Local storage: your text size and contrast choices, so the site looks the way you set it next time.

Neither of these is used to track you.

Payments

You never enter a card number on liftofly.com. If you pay us, you pay on a payment provider's secure hosted page. That provider handles your card details under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

If you send a contact request and do not become a customer, we delete it after 24 months. That is our practice. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as we work together and as long as we need them to meet our legal and business obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• show you the information we have about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your information

Use the contact form on liftofly.com to make a request. We may need to confirm it is really you before we act.

Residents of states with privacy laws

Some states, including California, give residents rights over their personal information. These can include the right to access it, correct it and delete it. If you live in one of those states, you can use these rights through the contact form. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. We will not treat you worse for using your rights.

Children

Our site is for business owners. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this page

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
