What is AI search?
AI search means a tool such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI writes a short answer to a question, instead of only showing a list of links. A customer might ask, "Who is a good plumber near me?" and get a few business names back.
This matters because some customers now get a recommendation without ever visiting a website. It does not mean your business is about to disappear. It does mean it is worth knowing what these tools say about you.
What do we look at?
We ask each tool the kind of question a customer might ask for your trade and your town. We write down whether your business is named, and whether what it says is correct. Answers can change from one try to the next, so we ask more than once.
We also look at your Google listing. That is the free entry that shows your business on Google Search and Maps. We check whether it is complete, and whether it matches the other places your business is listed.
What should you do with the result?
Read the report and fix anything simple that is wrong, such as an old phone number or missing hours. You can do that yourself, and the report will tell you where to look.

Do I have to buy anything?
No. The check is free. You do not need to make a call, buy anything or give a card.
Can you make ChatGPT recommend my business?
No, and nobody can honestly promise that. What actually influences these tools is whether your business facts are accurate and the same everywhere online, how complete your Google profile is, whether you have a steady flow of recent reviews, and whether your website clearly answers customer questions. Even then, the tools decide for themselves.
What do you do with my details?
We use them to do the check and send you the report. We do not sell them. Our privacy page explains how we handle them in full.
Is the check done by a computer?
No. A person at Liftofly does it by hand, so it is never an instant automated result. That is also why it takes up to 2 business days.
Will someone call me afterwards?
The report comes by email. If you want to talk it through, you can contact our team. You do not need to call us to receive the report.

Will the AI tools give the same answers tomorrow?
